France v Ireland (Rugby Union - Six Nations)

France v Ireland (Rugby Union - Six Nations)

Coverage between France v Ireland of Round 1 of the Six Nations from the Stade de France in Paris. The reigning champions France begin their title defence against Ireland in what is the first ever Thursday night opener in Six Nations history. Last season’s meeting saw France beat Ireland 42-27 in Dublin, a bonus-point win that derailed the Irish bid for a third straight title. France hold the edge in the long-running rivalry, winning significantly more of their over 100 Test meetings, while Ireland will be hoping to overturn that recent trend on French soil.

Leeds United v Nottingham Forest (Premier League)

Leeds United v Nottingham Forest (Premier League)

Coverage of the Premier League match from Elland Road. Both sides are fighting to stay in the top flight currently so three points for either side would be a massive result in their quest to retain their Premier League status. The reverse fixture back in November saw the visitors take all three points as they came from behind to beat their hosts 3-1 at the City Ground.

Manchester United v Tottenham Hotspur (Premier League)

Manchester United v Tottenham Hotspur (Premier League)

Coverage of the top-flight match from Old Trafford. The reverse fixture back in November saw Matthijs de Ligt score a 96th-minute equaliser to earn the Red Devils a 2-2 draw. Bryan Mbuemo had given the hosts the lead in the 32nd minute before late goals from Mathys Tel and Richarlison looked like they had earned Spurs all three points, only for de Ligt's goal gave United a deserved point.

Italy v Scotland (Rugby Union - Six Nations)

Italy v Scotland (Rugby Union - Six Nations)

Coverage of Round 1 of the Six Nations from the Stadio Olimpico in Rome. Scotland won last season’s meeting at Murrayfield 31-19 thanks in part to a hat-trick from Huw Jones, extending their strong head-to-head record against Italy — they’ve won 29 of the 38 Tests between these sides since 1996. Italy’s last victory over Scotland came in a thrilling 31-29 showdown in Rome in 2024, showcasing how unpredictable this fixture can be when played on home soil.

England v Wales (Rugby Union - Six Nations)

England v Wales (Rugby Union - Six Nations)

Coverage of Round 1 of the Six Nations from Twickenham Stadium. These long-time rivals meet with England aiming to build on an impressive pre-tournament run that includes an 11-game winning streak, though the team has not secured a Six Nations title since 2020. Wales come into the fixture under new leadership seeking to arrest a prolonged run of defeats in the Championship, having struggled over recent seasons and looking for a fresh start against their neighbours.

Newcastle United v Brentford (Premier League)

Newcastle United v Brentford (Premier League)

Coverage of the Premier League match at St James' Park. Both these teams are challenging for European places for next season, but it was Brentford who took the honours at Gtech Community Stadium in November. Harvey Barnes gave Newcastle the lead on that occasion, but a goal by Kevin Schade and Igor Thiag's brace after Dan Burn had been sent off for the Magpies gave Keith Andrews' men a 3-1 win.

Brighton v Crystal Palace (Premier League)

Brighton v Crystal Palace (Premier League)

Coverage of the Premier League match at Amex Stadium. Palace are unbeaten in their last three meetings with their rivals, having beaten them home and away last term and drawn 0-0 at Selhurst Park in November, but they have struggled for form in recent weeks and Brighton will be hopeful of making home advantage count this time around.

Liverpool v Manchester City (Premier League)

Liverpool v Manchester City (Premier League)

Coverage of the Premier League match at Anfield. City claimed an impressive 3-0 win in November's reverse fixture at Etihad Stadium thanks to goals by Erling Haaland, Nico Gonzalez and Jeremy Doku, but Liverpool will expect to perform better in front of their own fans and won 2-0 here in last season's corresponding fixture.

Tottenham Hotspur v Newcastle United (Premier League)

Tottenham Hotspur v Newcastle United (Premier League)

Coverage of the top-flight match from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Cristian Romero scored twice in the reverse fixture back in December as Tottenham came from behind on two occasions to earn a 2-2 draw. Bruno Guimaraes and Anthony Gordon had twice given the Magpies the lead inside the final 15 minutes, but Romero's 95th minute overhead kick spoilt things for Newcastle.

Chelsea v Leeds United (Premier League)

Chelsea v Leeds United (Premier League)

Coverage of the top-flight match from Stamford Bridge. The reverse fixture in early December saw the visitors pick up an impressive 3-1 victory against a Chelsea side that struggled to deal with Leeds' energy. First-half goals from Jaka Bijol and Ao Tanaka had given the Whites a 2-0 lead at half-time before Pedro Neto pulled a goal back for the Blues early on in the second half. However Leeds weren't to be denied an important three points as Dominic Calvert-Lewin made it 3-1 in the 72nd minute

West Ham United v Manchester United (Premier League)

West Ham United v Manchester United (Premier League)

Coverage of the top-flight match from The London Stadium, in a key game for both sides. The hosts are fighting relegation and a win here would give much-needed confidence to a side that have struggled for much of the season. The visitors on the other hand are still in the hunt for a Champions League place, and a win here would certainly improve their chances of finishing in the top four.

Aston Villa v Brighton (Premier League)

Aston Villa v Brighton (Premier League)

Coverage of the top-flight match from Villa Park. The hosts came away from Brighton with a thrilling 4-3 victory in the reverse fixture back in early December. The Seagulls had gone 2-0 up inside 29 minutes but two goals from Ollie Watkins, as well as finishes from Amadou Onana and Donyell Malen, earnt three important points for the Villains as their good form continued

Manchester City v Fulham (Premier League)

Manchester City v Fulham (Premier League)

Coverage of the top-flight match from Etihad Stadium. These two sides last met in early December at Craven Cottage in a crazy match that ended 5-4 to Pep Guardiola's team. The visitors had gone 5-1 up after just 48 minutes and the game had looked done and dusted, only for an Alex Iwobi finish and a brace from Samuel Chukwueze gave Fulham hope at 5-4. Fortunately for City fans they held on for the last 12 minutes to come away with three vital points.

Sunderland v Liverpool (Premier League)

Sunderland v Liverpool (Premier League)

Coverage of the top-flight match from Stadium of Light. The reverse fixture at Anfield saw the hosts come away with an impressive point in a game that they could well have won. Chemsdine Talbi had given Sunderland the lead in the 67th minute but an unfortunate own goal from Nordi Mukiele in the 81st minute meant the Black Cats had to settle for a point

Brentford v Arsenal (Premier League)

Brentford v Arsenal (Premier League)

Coverage of the top-flight match from Gtech Community Stadium, as the visitors go in search of another three points in their quest to win their first Premier League title since 2004. The reverse fixture back in early December saw the Gunners pick up a 2-0 victory over the Bees. Despite not being fully convincing, Arsenal scored goals at vital times thanks to Mikel Merino and a 91st-minute finish from Bukayo Saka.

Hull City v Chelsea (Premier League)

Hull City v Chelsea (Premier League)

Coverage of the fourth-round match from MKM Stadium, as Liam Rosenior returns to his former club for the first time. The Blues travel to East Yorkshire as they look to continue their search for their first FA Cup trophy since the 2017/18 season, when they beat Manchester United 1-0 in the final. Chelsea haven't lost to Hull since a 3-0 defeat in the old Division Two in October 1988, a run stretching back 16 games

Scotland v England (Rugby Union - Six Nations)

Scotland v England (Rugby Union - Six Nations)

Coverage of Round 2 of the Six Nations from Scottish Gas Murrayfield in Edinburgh. The Calcutta Cup fixture pits Scotland against England in one of the Championship’s most traditional rivalries; England’s last 11‑game winning streak underlines their recent consistency, but Scotland will be fired up to defend home advantage. With England having not claimed a title since 2020, a statement win here would send a strong message early in their campaign.

Wales v Scotland (Rugby Union - Six Nations)

Wales v Scotland (Rugby Union - Six Nations)

Coverage of Round 3 from the Principality Stadium in Cardiff. Scotland edged a thrilling contest against Wales 35‑29 in their last meeting in Edinburgh, a game that showcased both sides’ attacking flair and defensive lapses. The long rivalry favours Wales overall, but Scotland’s scalp in 2025 gives them confidence as they seek another statement result on Welsh soil.

France v Italy (Rugby Union - Six Nations)

France v Italy (Rugby Union - Six Nations)

Coverage of Round 3 of the Six Nations from Stade Pierre Mauroy in Lille. France have been dominant against Italy in recent years, typically posting large winning margins with rapid try‑scoring depth, and last season’s clash reflected that gulf. Italy will be aiming to narrow that gap and spring an upset, but will need to flip that recent trend to trouble the defending champions in northern France.
