Chelsea are looking to reach their first final in this competition since 2022, when they lost on penalties to Liverpool. That appearance was the Blues' third successive appearance in an FA Cup final and was their third loss in a row. Leeds are playing in their first semi-final in this competition since 1987 and haven't won an FA Cup since 1972.

The visitors made it to this stage last season but lost to eventual winners Paris Saint-Germain 3-1 across the two legs

An all-English tie sees Forest host Villa with a place in the final at stake, as both sides look to take an early advantage into the return leg. The teams have already met twice in the league this season, with Villa edging the most recent encounter 2-1, while Forest remain strong on home soil and will hope the City Ground atmosphere can inspire a statement European performance. Villa, however, have impressed in continental competition this term with their attacking threat, setting up a finely balanced first leg.
